When you flash your light at the red light is that impersonating an officer?

in the news today a man was charged for warning others of a speed trap ahead, by flashing his lights!

the judge said he did nothing illegal and threw it out.

emergency vehicles have strobe lights...so if you see the sensor on top of the traffic light you can speed up the process.

you'll notice you'll be getting alot more red lights though...

when that set of lights turn green then the next turns green then the next...you're screwing with the pattern! When you flash your light at the red light is that impersonating an officer?
Actually you see those little sensors on top of the lights well if you hit them with light they'll change alot faster, I dont think people are trying to impersonate cops, there just tired of waiting on the DAMN lights! When you flash your light at the red light is that impersonating an officer?
only if you get caught. lol. i do that ALL the time to get the light to switch. hahaha
unless your light are red and blue... nope
no, unless you happen to have red and blue lights flashing.
not in my country.....................
what exactly does that do when you flash the red light?
you can get a ticket for bright lightening people. also stoplights are pressure sensative in the road, not flash sensative.
Depends on what state or country you are in. But it is universal in most countries that the lights must be BLUE or RED. And the headlights must flash in sequence, (one on when one is off and vice versa).
No...all that I know is that you flash your lights at other drivers to warn them that the cops are round the corner do that they don't get pulled over and fined for speeding or something.
My friend in high school used to always flash his headlights to try to get the lights to turn faster...it didn't once work around san diego.
What in the world are you talking about?? What light do you mean?
i do it all the time and it also means u want to race the car in front of u
