You cant turn flash offHow do you turn off a flash on a polaroid camera?
The third answer is correct... I have a Polaroid 600 and it is possible to take a photo without flash by using that collar and not the button. Report Abuse

put a piece of electrical tape over it
The Polaroid One-Step %26amp; 600 series cameras DO have an option of taking pictures without the automatic flash. Look at the shutter button located on the side of the body. There's a 'collar' that surround the button. If you press the collar instead of the button, the camera will take a picture, but will not fire the flash.

I'm not certain about the SX-70 or Polaroid Land cameras, as I haven't used those in too many years.
